The Wells Fargo Bay Area eBus is a mobile technology lab equipped with 18 computer workstations and high-speed satellite Internet technology. The eBus is dedicated to serving San Francisco and outlying communities, partnering with schools and non-profit organizations, by providing technology training and Internet access to people with limited technology resources.
Through the generosity of Wells Fargo, The Community College Foundation is able to bring this resource to schools, youth and senior centers, churches, libraries, and other non-profit and community organizations free of charge.
The eBus can be used as a community resource in a variety of ways. Recently we have conducted the following types of trainings in English and in Spanish.
- Introduction to Windows
- Educational Games
- Online Research
- Résumé Writing
- Email/Internet training
- Microsoft Word/Excel
- Financial Literacy (Hands-on Banking)
- Employment Research
- First-time Homebuyer Education
- Introduction to Web Design
The eBus schedule can be found at www.communityconnect.org (click eBus Calendar, then click Wells Fargo Bay Area eBus). Please schedule the eBus 4-6 weeks in advance.
