The Pearson Digital Learning Center

Learning on the Move!

Pearson Digital Learning and The Community College Foundation formed an innovative partnership to provide leading edge technology programs for elementary students and educators throughout the United States. Through this effort, more than 25,000 students and over 800 educators benefited from the programs onboard the Pearson Digital Learning Center (eBus)– a mobile demonstration lab complete with 13 computer stations.

The mobile demonstration lab featured Pearson Digital Learning’s KnowledgeBox®, SuccessMaker® Enterprise, Waterford Early Reading Program™ and Waterford Early Math & Science™ - digital programs designed for 55-minute blocks of instruction in reading/language arts, math and English language development.

The programs served as a tool for teachers to identify academic needs of individual students and monitor student progress. In addition to supporting classroom instruction, the programs were able address the needs of special education and at-risk students, while challenging gifted and talented students.

Throughout the year, the eBus made day-long stops at elementary schools as it worked its way across the country. The Pearson Digital Learning Center visited 30-35 states annually and over 145 schools during its term.

We would like to extend out sincere appreciation to Pearson Digital Learning for allowing the eBus Program to deliver digital curriculum to students across the United States from July 2002 – September 2005.
